Omouzuwa Seymour-EL is a Creative Mastermind, Entrepreneur, and Incubator Genius. The art enthusiast spent her teen years writing, teaching dance, learning fashion, and honing her leadership experience. She developed a work history in visual merchandising, working for large retailers like Bloomingdale’s. Seymour-EL attended Miles College and earned her associate’s degree in Liberal Arts at Prairie State, where she was a member of the student government and the Black Student Union. She discovered the community wealth disparities in urban areas and noticed the impact on children in education. The Arts programs, in particular, needed to be improved. To fill in the gaps in the community and provide a solution, she birthed Raw Talent Performing Arts in 2014. She promoted a healthy environment for the youth by advocating arts in the community. Seymour-EL started her nonprofit, teaching herself the components to build, scale, and grow. She landed. numerous contracts for schools and after-school programs; her most significant contract was 45K. Seymour-EL's passion is teaching creative writing, music production, entrepreneurship, and dance at charter and private schools in the Chicagoland area. The Chicago native has become certified as an entrepreneur through Sunshine Enterprises and is accredited as an Illinois State Licensed teacher. Aligning her business goals and dreams with Instructional Design, she focuses on creating curriculum design and development as a Career and Technology Certified Teacher. She has initiated an incubator marketing education program, and her for-profit business thrives today because of her extensive nonprofit experience. "Dreams come true by proper planning and execution" Using her portfolio to gain employment at her alma mater, Prairie State College, she developed a passion and love for curating fashion shows for the youth. The entrepreneur introduced drill and majorette and began to host events with the Chicago Public Schools, churches, and youth centers. Instilling healthy self-esteem and confidence in the children she mentored, Seymour-EL wanted to help Black and brown girls, building a community of innovative leaders, scholars, and future entrepreneurs.
